Makendra Burns brings passion to her teaching and training, pushing for the best a rider or horse can do, but not more. Confidence is most important!
But that does not mean excellence is not the goal.
You will be learning in a wholesome, nurturing enviornent backed by Makendra's depth of quaity, high level knowledge that takes decades to embody. Makendra's teaching and equestrain knowledge has grown thru working with Olympic riders, competing at the Advanced/*** level in eventing, riding 6+ horses bareback thru the forest in NH daily as a kid, caring for her own horses for over 30 years, and teaching children for over 30 years.
Natural horsemanship has always been the foundation to her approach, taught to her both by the horses in her life as well as wonderful trainers. There are many ways to communicate to both riders and horses, but effective communication is key to a flourishing realtionship between the two.
